Digital Channels

In the UK there are approximately two hundred digital channels. There are 2 methods of receiving digital channels.

Subscription digital channels and Free to view digital channels. The subscription channels are pay channels as part of a subscription package. There are two types of subscription packages, The standard package and the extra premium channels that you can add to your standard package at an extra cost. The package contract length is normally one year.

Available channels

The channel lists that you get will depending on which television platform that you choose, i.e. Satellite, or Terrestrial. You will receive all the main BBC channels whatever platform you choose.

Below is a list of the main BBC TV channels that are free channels:

BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, BBC news, CBeebies and BBC Parliament.

BBC radio stations include BBC radio 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 live, radio 5 (live sports extra), 6, 7, BBC Asian Network, and BBC 1 extra.
